This property was perfect for our family. My Dad is older and the elevator was a must for us. We had some issues with the elevator and Better Beach Rentals came right out to help. Also, our fridge ice machine was broken but Better Beach Rentals offered to deliver ice during our stay and they delivered on their promise. Loved that the pool was raised and we could see the beach from that view. I hope to rent it again next year. 10 out of 10 rating to me although I hate to say that. I don't want it to be too popular!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Drift Away. We especially enjoyed the direct access to the ocean from our back porch. The property was great for our 3 families. The kitchen was well equipped.

Drift Away is a nice property on the oceanfront that accommodated our large family with the 6 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. We enjoyed our stay but dealt with several issues including a broken blind, unusable outdoor grill, broken interior stairway step, and extremely poor Wifi network in the family room. All of the issues were reported to Better Beach Rentals (BBR) and they were very responsive, courteous, and accommodating. The blinds were replaced, the step was repaired, and the rusted charcoal grill was replaced with a super nice propane gas grill that we didn't get to use. While BBR dealt with and corrected these issues, we felt the burden falls on the property owners to make sure renters don't have to deal with owner issues while on vacation. The landscaping could be improved around the home foundation where seagrass is uncut and bushes hang over the back lower deck creating a narrow walking space. Bathrooms could use a paintjob where moisture has stained the walls. With the million dollar property and premium rental rates there should be a reasonable expectation of a stellar home and surrounding landscape.

Drift Away was great!

Our family beach vacay at Drift Away was great. We had lots of space for the 3 families who came, the kids loved the pool and the beach access was wonderful. We plan to return next year!

Wonderful view with great proximity to the beach. House is well-equipped. Bedrooms are much smaller than they appear in photos but we made do. Quietest elevator we have ever had! Good location on the island, convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Looking forward to returning IF rental costs remain the same.
