Overall we had a great experience in Sea La Vie. The front door light needs to be replaced or fixed. There is lamp in the first floor, living area that needs fixed (on/off switch is broken). Also wished there was additional lighting in the bunk bed room. Just one lamp is not enough.

Overall

The house location was great for beach access. The layout worked well for our 6 adults and 6 children. The pool was clean, maintained (the pool company tech checked chemistry and filters while we were there) and sized well for our kids and grandkids who were in it every day. There was no shade in the pool area so we put up a 10' x 10' pop up shelter next to the pool. We used the grass area behind the pool for corn hole and frisbee. We found that the grass in that area is very thin and the area is muddy after rain storms. Recommend action to thicken the grass in that area. The kitchen had everything we needed.While the house worked well, my wife and I are both 70 years old and we found the frequent climbs to the top floor tiring particularly on the days of arrival and departure. My watch said I climbed 57 flights of stairs on the final morning when I moved our stuff out of the house and into our car! If we do this again we may consider a house with an elevator. Most rentals we've used ask renters to put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher on the morning of departure. Housekeeping then empties the dishwasher. The Sea La Vie rental agreement required us to clean and put away all dishes before departure. This was an extra burden since we had to feed 12 people breakfast that last morning and had to do dish washing at a very busy time while we were moving out of the unit. Brittany was very responsive to every email I sent and maintenance problem i identified. Her team arrived promptly, were courteous and efficiently addressed each problem.

This house was perfect for all our needs. Kitchen was fully stocked. Loved this home. Karen was wonderful during my request to extend our stay because of my husband being hospitalized during our time there. She went above and beyond to help us. So did every staff member that I had contact with . Kim was great to work with. I am not sure of other names. I highly recommend Better Beach Rentals
