This was the first time my wife and I have stayed in Oak Island, and the condo was beautifully decorated, had a great layout and was just a joy to stay in. The condo is centrally located to everything you want to include: restaurants, shops and most importantly the beach itself which was just magnificent. The people were friendly and we just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

My husband and I, and our 2 pups, stayed for a week in May this year. It was like a home away from home! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and close to anything we wanted to do. There was a fully equipped kitchen that made meal prep easy when we wanted to stay in to eat. There are lots of restaurants close by, and the beach was an easy walk, only a short block away. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Oak Island!

I typically use a different rental company when I visit Oak Island, this is my first year using Better Beach Rentals and was not disappointed! The unit we stayed in was wonderful! It was clean, not too far from the beach and was just a really great experience. The one thing I would recommend for this property is replacing the flooring. It is coming apart in several places, especially in the kitchen and living room areas. The places it is coming apart is a severe trip hazard and I did catch myself a couple times before falling, due to my foot getting caught under the loose pieces.

Condo was very nice and clean. The only issue was the noice from the people above us. They were very rude and inconsiderate stomping their feet up until about 3am every night.
