The house was very calming. Ease of beach and marsh access and that of grocery needs was very good. A perfect week with our sones and grandsons.

We loved the marsh as much as the beach. We felt like this property was a good value, like we were getting something in return for our hard-earned money. We didn't leave vacation with buyers remorse. We loved the location. We spent much of the week on the screened-in porch, but we made good use of much of the home, even the cute swings. We appreciated the fact that the rental company didn't bother us. We would have gladly set the trash can out on trash night, and were prepared to watch for neighbors to do it, but someone came by to do that. It was one of our best vacations. There are two (possibly public) trash cans down by the public walkway that goes across the marsh and we saw numerous people drive up and dump several trash bags into those cans until they were overflowing. We thought that was bogus and someone might want to know in case it becomes a problem. Can't imagine who is doing it, if it's owners, renters...doesn't make sense, but some of the trash spilled into the marsh and could get worse as the season gets busy. We picked some up and so did others. One vehicle was a repeat - I wondered if it could be a cleaning person from other houses. There are two (possibly public) trash cans down by the public walkway that goes across the marsh and we saw numerous people drive up and dump several trash bags into those cans until they were overflowing. We thought that was bogus and someone might want to know in case it becomes a problem. Can't imagine who is doing it, if it's owners, renters...doesn't make sense, but some of the trash spilled into the marsh and could get worse as the season gets busy. We picked some up and so did others. One vehicle was a repeat - I wondered if it could be a cleaning person from other houses.
