This house was an absolute dream. Would 10/10 stay here again. Furniture feels clean, new and comfortable for our family of 5. Plenty of seating inside and out. LOVED sitting on that outdoor porch. Only negative was water pressure in the master bath shower was not good at all. Struggle to wash my hair BUT the shower was so nice I didnt mind spending more time in there. I wish this house was dog friendly and that is the only thing that would stop us from renting in the future.

High Tide was perfect for our family vacation! The house was perfect and had plenty of room for the 8 of us. When entering the house it smelt so clean, the house was spotless. The neighborhood was quiet and maybe 10 minute walk if that to the beach. Loved the outdoor shower for the kids, very convenient to get all the beach sand off the kids. The corn hole boards were a plus, my husband and dad enjoyed this at night after the kids were asleep. This was our first time ever to Oak Island, it’s now on our top 5. All the restaurants were great and not far from the house. Multiple parks close by and a splash pad. Overall we had the best experience and will be back.

We loved our stay at High Tide and will definitely be back. Great location and loved that it was walking distance to the beach, grocery store, park and a few restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of seating. The house is in great condition and clean. Looking forward to coming back next year.

I didn’t want to leave ! High Tide has everything you need to have an awesome get away. The house is clean, well stocked with everything you need and convenient to everything. The porches are amazing. The beds are cozy. It is clean and new and an awesome property. Short walk to the beach and so many things close by to do. I can’t wait to come back!

We spent Labor Day weekend at High Tide and it was such a relaxing experience. The affordability and proximity to the beach made our selection of High Tide a no-brainer. The amenities are brand new, and make you feel right at home after a long day at the beach. The property is close to several great restaurants, but also extremely close to Publix if you prefer to cook your own meals (there is an awesome grill so I suggest you cook out at least once), or if you've forgotten any toiletries. The House is also close to a few park so if you've got little ones, it is an excellent way to spend the evening after getting ice cream.

I don't think I can adequately describe this rental property. We met up with family to celebrate birthdays. everything about our long weekend was beyond what we were expecting. The house itself is amazing, it is well cared for kept up and very clean. The enclosed porch worked out so well for us, we could corral the kids in and play games while enjoying the sounds of the ocean. Every Morning you could find my mom on the balcony with a hot cup of coffee watching the sunrise. The kids enjoyed having a tv in their room and we loved that we had some cartoon free time. The walk to the beach was only 5 mins so no need to drive and the outdoor shower was a blessing to get the sand off everyone. We went to 49*th street bar and grill to catch the football game it is a really fun spot; the bartender was quick with the refills and the burgers were the best. YOU have to also head over to KOKO Cabana another great spot to eat, it is right next to the pier which was really nice to walk out on too. There is a little of something for everyone in Oak Island the kids had a blast between the beach, park and their favorite nightly ice cream walk. We are definitely planning another family trip, but we are also arranging a kidless weekend with friends and can't wait to hang out on the balcony playing cards and being able to explore more of the beach and all this cute town offers.
