Choose a seat from either the front or back decks to relax and enjoy the incredible island and water views.  Over 1,200 sq ft of covered deck space and outdoor living space!   Located in a quiet section of East Beach subdivision with wide beaches and very little traffic, yet very convenient to the commercial district. The unique setting and private bridge driveway of this home amplify that already private area of the beach. This home boasts double ocean side porches to sit back in your rocking chairs, gaze over the ocean, see the beach, and feel the sea breezes through your hair.  The inside of the home is very tastefully decorated, so you can let all of your worries drift away and enjoy your vacation in comfort. The open floor plan allows the gathering of the family throughout the upstairs. The dining room and family rooms have fabulous ocean views so even from indoors, you will have priceless views. Great property that was quiet and had a multitude of amenities in an easy to access location. The home was well stocked and well labeled to find items, light switches, etc. The baby gate and high chairs were incredibly convenient. The linens being packaged on the beds were comfortable and we liked that it was obvious they had been cleaned since they were still packaged. The only recommendations I would have is to add that these items are available on property in the listing as we brought our own just in case. Also, we didn't have any issues, but a notice about longer vehicles and the bridge to get to the property might be a helpful note as if our truck or SUV had been extended cabs/beds/Suburban, etc. it would have been difficult to make the turn on the home side of the bridge.

The house was lovely but we were not fully aware of just how many steps would be involved.. Multiple times a day to the beach plus unloading and moving all our things for the week up. We managed but were grateful we didn't have older relatives along. You may want to let folks know about the construction next door as well. Driving pilings beginning at 8 in the morning was not the best way to enjoy the beautiful deck. That will be going on for quite a while people will want to be informed. The views were wonderful. We loved the porch ( after construction crews left. Maintenance was attentive to our request. Your office people were pleasant and prompt.. we love Oak Island and will return.

We have stayed at Bridgewater for several years and really enjoy the house. We are so sad to see the property going up tight next door, which will destroy the beautiful sunsets as well as the privacy of the home. The house is beginning to show signs of maintenance needs, including rusty outdoor faucets, gate closure deterioration, doors under kitchen sink which do not close properly, and painting of interior walls in halls and living area.We noticed that the pool lights came on automatically each night, which unfortunately attracted baby turtles. We rescued one from the filter.
