I’ve been visiting Oak Island my whole life and I finally brought some friends from Canada down to see the area. This home was perfect. Great location, clean, beautiful views, new appliances, everything you hope for. The owners were also incredibly accessible and accommodating in the search and booking process. Absolutely wonderful stay and hope to be back!!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Bessie B for over a month this spring.In a word it is heaven.Direct access to the beach mere steps from the house.Wonderful quiet location on the West side…close to Middleton and the bridge.My absolute favorite perks of the house are the large decks…one upper one lower..even a small one off the kitchen.Very nice deck furniture…upper deck is so fun to sit on and people watch/pelican and dolphin watch!The lower deck is perfect for getting out of the sun and read while you feel the breeze and listen to the waves.The owners are very responsive and easy to deal with.Carol Moore

We loved the place. It was the best appointed beach rental we have experienced. Lot's of kitchen gadgets and it was great to have a grill. We noticed afterwards that there was even charcoal there (we brought some and also left it behind for the next guy). Everything was very well thought out. We also loved that the ice maker had ice when we got there. Nothing better than a cold drink after a long drive! We will be back next year for sure.
