Gorgeously decorated with your ultimate relaxation in mind, you will be able to fall asleep comfortably at night to the gentle sound of the ocean waves rolling onto the shore...and 2 of the bedrooms are oceanfront! Everyone can enjoy being together in the open concept living room, dining, and kitchen area, while taking in the breathtaking panoramic ocean views. Sit out on one of 2 oceanfront covered porches sipping your morning coffee or your afternoon glass of refreshing sweet tea as the pelicans fly overhead in formation and the seagulls call. Feel like getting a little sand between your toes? Beach access is directly in front of the home, and you're ready for a fun-filled day in the sun. Alternatively, take an oceanfront walk down to the pier and see what they're catching. Go fishing yourself and then enjoy that fresh catch on the charcoal grill in the evening. For our first time in North Carolina, this property was a great place to stay. Wish the weather were a bit nicer, well just have to come back when its more in season.

Our stay at The Pilot House was everything we wanted, and more! The place was in the perfect location: steps from the sand, within walking distance of the Beach Pantry, and not a bad drive from the stores and restaurants on the island. It was very clean when we arrived and had all the amenities you could need. There was plenty of space for our 11 guests. We cannot wait to stay here again!
