While Hurricane Erin is projected to make its way up the East Coast, its current course is maintaining it out to sea while it passes by Oak Island, NC. Some proposed courses do show a potential of it coming close to the Outer Banks, but that is located over 200 miles north of us at Oak Island, NC, so even then our impact should be minimal at worst.
