Water Shortage Warning at Oak Island
Brunswick County has issued a water shortage warning, effective immediately. In this warning, includes guidelines for compliance and penalties for noncompliance, all of which can be found here.
Due to the shortage of water in the area certain activities like washing or cleaning of mobile equipment, including automobiles, trucks, boats, and fleet vehicles is prohibited. Filling public or private pools, hot tubs, or spas is prohibited. Prohibited activities carry a fee penalty for violation. All details can be found here.
